a. Roles of Teachers In-Charge
i. monitoring pupil attendance

vi. liasing with cluster schools on matters pertaining to cultural and language activities
vii. monitoring and attending to discipline matters
viii. supervising members at inter-school competitions and outings
ix. monitoring instructor's attendance, length and number of practice sessions

4. Rules and Regulations (see Appendices 3 and 4)
a. Attire
i. Members are to be dressed either in the society's tee- shirts or school tee-shirts and school pants or skirts during meetings.
ii. Members involved in dance/dikir barat practices are to be dressed either in the society's tee- shirts or school tee-shirts and black/dark blue track pants or slacks.
iii. Slippers/sandals are not allowed. Shoes must be worn during meetings and for practices.
iv. Members will be asked to change to the correct attire before allowed to attend practices/meetings.
b. Attendance
i. Members must be punctual for meetings/practices
ii. Members must have a minimum of 75% attendance for every academic year
iii. Membership must be continuous
iv. Absenteeism must be accompanied by MCs or letters of explanation from parents
v. Members must attend all meetings/practices.
vi. Notification letters will be issued if extra practices/meetings are required.
v. Discipline
vi. At least one teacher in-charge must be present during meetings/practices.
vii. The dance instructor may supervise the dance practices during teacher's absence.
viii. The school rules apply to all members.
ix. Members must behave responsibly and honourably at all times.
x. Disciplinary action will be taken against serious/repeat offenders.
5. Induction and Training of EXCO Members
a. All members will be briefed on ECA point system during the first meeting for the year.
b. All members will be briefed on rules and regulations for members and be given Appendices 3 & 4.
c. EXCO members will be briefed separately on their roles and responsibilities and be given Appendix 1
d. EXCO members will be trained for their roles and responsibilities eg. report writing, minute taking, stock taking, publishing skills etc.
e. Leadership training will also be given to EXCO members.

8. Evaluation
a. Post-mortem will be carried out after every activity. Feedback will be obtained from EXCO members. Strengths and weaknesses as well as suggestions for improvements will be recorded.
b. Evaluation of all activities will be carried out on a termly basis during termly meetings with EXCO members.
c. Final appraisal will be carried out by teachers in-charge based on termly reports, observation of teachers and survey of members.
